This is a portrait of one of my friends. It's not the best quality or composition, but that's not what this picture is about to me.
This girl lost her mother last year, and this year lost a fellow friend named Jimmy. Yet even with people she loves the most dieing around her she still staied strong and is graduating with all us.
Life is bigger than anyone of us, and this girl is stronger than most of us could ever be.
She now lives her life with them always in her, she strives to reach her goals not for her own selfish wishes, but for her mother and her friends. She lives with no regrets because she lives her life to the fullest for those who never had the chance.
My words are jumbled and I am too emotional to express what needs to be said. But I know in your heart the words I can not say will find their way.
This picture expresses the opposite of what you'd be thinking if you just read the description of her. It's good to know that she's still making it Makes me happy... nice work!

ya i agree with xdavidfotox, if i didn't read the description i would've just thought it to be a regular portrait. i'm glad i read the description tho cause it opened up a whole new angle to the piece. all the sadness and emotion can be found in her expression. sounds like she's had it pretty rough, i'm glad that she's pulling thru ok though. when i went to view this shot, i expected people to be like, "o man, shes sooo hot!" but i'm glad that some people read the description and left sensable comments.
great piece altogether

Great shot. Like said above you can see the weathered look upon her face. I truely believe we don't know what we are made of until we are tested. Im not saying that I think she should have been tested, but I know she is a lot stronger now. She is of course very attractive, and it goes to show that sometimes the meaning and motivation behind the shot can overpower the visual elements. Now you just have to combine them with out words

It will not last the night
But ah my foes and oh my friends
It gives a lovely light
